"The first time we came to Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center was the day our lives began to change. Dylan was implanted with his cochlear implant in May of ‘06 and activated five weeks after. It wasn't right away, but with time and hard work, we noticed a difference. Imagine the day that your son, who you never even thought would talk, says "I love you Mom." Let me tell you it's incredible. He enjoys life as any other child would. That is what the Oral Deaf Education Program did! Each and every staff member makes a difference in my son's life as well as our entire family's life. They make this possible. Each time I go observe, I'm just so grateful for this program. Meet the kids and the staff and you will understand that they don't just go to work, they change lives! I thank God everyday that I have them in our life."
