If your child or student attends one of the schools listed below and qualifies for a free/reduced lunch he/she may be able to attend one of Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center's (BHSC) unique after-school programs for free through supplemental educational services (SES) funding!
Click here to see a complete list of 2011-2012 SES eligible schools.
SES funding allows your student to access excellent programs implemented by expert professionals for free. BHSC's Language to Literacy and Fast Forword Programs help students improve their academic, language and reading skills. These programs have a track record of success resulting in both improved test scores and parent/teacher reports of significant improvement in areas like attention, following directions, memory, organization, self-advocacy, and reading fluency and comprehension after students have attended.
Students can often be bussed to BHSC directly from school; therefore parents only need to provide transportation home. If the student does not qualify for SES funding, these programs may be covered by insurance, scholarship, or paid for privately. Included is some program information and an SES application.
