Advance Set-up - Thursday August 8, 2012 | 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
Day-of Set-up - Friday August 9, 2012 | 8:00am - 1:00pm.
All brewer pouring stations must be set-up and ready by 1:00pm.
If you have any special requirements, please make sure you note them in the Special Requirements section of this package.
Each brewer will be assigned a pouring station at locations throughout the venue. Assignment of pouring station location is based on the order when responses are received, so the earlier you submit your forms, the better spot you will be given at the event. We are expecting 4,500 + beer enthusiasts to attend this year, so please make sure you plan your quantities accordingly.
Each attendee will receive an official 3.5oz. mini-pilsner glasses for tasting along with 20 tickets to sample beer as part of their admission fee. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1/ticket. Ice and water will be provided for the brewers.
Please bring tapping equipment with keg buckets, or tubs to ice down your kegs or bottles. Ice and water will be provided and Buffalo BrewFest will have a team of volunteers to bring ice to your station before and during the event.
The usual beer festival rules will apply (sample sized pours only, no bottles given away, etc.). We ask that your refrain from providing any promotional items or giveaways that can be thrown (balls, frisbees, etc.). If you wish to bring memorabilia to sell, you will need to include a certificate of authority to collect taxes when you submit your registration package.
The New York SLA requires volunteers to pour at each pouring station. Breweries may bring a maximum of two volunteers to pour beer. The volunteers will be required to remain at your pouring station for the duration of the event. Volunteers must be registered through Buffalo BrewFest and will be provided with the proper identification (wristband) when they check in.
If you would like, the Buffalo BrewFest can provide volunteers to pour at your station.
All volunteers will receive a 2013 Buffalo BrewFest / BHSC t-shirt to wear and is theirs to keep.
Please complete online registration below and submit by May 30, 2013 to reserve your place and be eligible for the $100 Brewer Stipend. Or you can mail the completed Brewer Registration Packages that you received in the mail to Julie Berrigan, c/o Buffalo Hearing & Speech Foundation, 50 E. North Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Or by fax to 716.885.4229.
