Making a Difference…

We can meet your needs and REDUCE your COSTS!

Our highly-trained Speech-Language Pathologists work in many settings and with all ages to provide the highest quality diagnostic evaluations and treatment!

WHERE DO WE WORK?
                   Schools
                   Hospitals
                   Skilled Nursing Facilities
                   Rehabilitation Units
                   Clinics Day Treatment Programs

WHY BHSC?

  • Intensive focus on oral and written communication skills aimed at improving educational, social, and vocational success.

  • Speech-language pathologists assigned to your facility are supervised by experienced BHSC supervisory staff at no cost to you. Supervisors are always available to your staff to collaborate, address issues, and problem solve.

  • Our competent speech-language pathologists have access to training in the latest research and therapy techniques. They receive weekly continuing education and training via in-services, peer sharing, workshops, and supervision.

  • We become a part of your team. We can maximize your therapeutic success through effective collaboration. We are extremely flexible. We can increase/decrease our level of involvement according to your needs. We are there when you want us to be.

  • We can provide consultations for parents and caregivers.
  • We provide consistent, efficient service:
      • We provide maximum direct therapy time/minimal paperwork time.
      • Because of our large staff, we are most often able to cover any sick or vacation time, so there is never a lag in service.
      • We can provide extra help during busy times (e.g. annual reviews, higher than average caseload)

  • In-services provided to your staff at your request (e.g. re: red flags for referral; strategies to help students in the classroom; auditory processing disorders; literacy intervention, swallowing disorders and feeding strategies, etc.).

  • In schools, literacy focused therapy is a priority. Therapists carry the philosophy of our cutting edge Language to Literacy program (which addresses attention, listening, memory, phonological, self advocacy, organizational and language skills) into their individual and group therapy in your setting.

  • We will utilize your staff’s academic/curriculum goals in speech-language therapy. In addition, we will consult with teachers to help them implement successful strategies used in therapy in the classroom. Communication is key!

  • Proven success in other settings. We have provided effective therapy and become valued members their team.

  • Excellent potential for partnership to effectively implement specialized programs such as Literacy intervention, grant partnerships, etc.
