Speech Language Pathologist

Full-time, part-time, fee-for-service positions available working with clientele of all ages in a variety of settings

Major Responsibilities

 The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for individuals with communication disorders. In addition, responsibilities include the implementation of an appropriate Speech-Language Pathology treatment program designed to habilitate or rehabilitate the communicatively impaired person.


Education and experience requirements

1. Current NYS license and registration as SLP or CFY available
2.Current NYS teaching certification as Teacher of the Speech & Hearing Handicapped/Students with Speech-Language Disabilities
3. Certificate of Clinical Competency
4. Excellent knowledge of clinical practices
5. Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices
6. Adherence to the Code of Ethics established by the American Speech-Langue Pathology Program
