Continuing Education

We have an exciting series of Continuing Clinical Competency (CCC) Workshops planned for 2008. There is something for everyone. Sessions are conveniently scheduled after work and are approved for two hours of continuing education credit through ASHA (all sessions) and AAA (audiology only). A total of 15 two-hour workshops are scheduled that include sessions for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (4). Many of the sessions are appropriate for Special Education Teachers, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Psychologists and Social Workers. All members of the educational / rehabilitation team and welcome to attend.

Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is approved by the CEB of ASHA to provide continuing education programs in speech-language pathology and audiology. Each workshop is offered for .2 CEUs (intermediate level, professional area). ASHA CE Provide approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific or clinical procedures.

Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is approved by the American Academy of Audiology to offer Academy CEUs. Each program is worth a maximum of .2 CEUs. Academy approval of this continuing education activity does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

Cost of each workshop is

$30 if payment is received seven days in advance
$35 if payment is received less than seven days in advance

All workshops may be purchased at a package price of $200. Payment can be made by credit card or check (payable to Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center). Fees paid are non-refundable.
